LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz has finally landed in the provincial capital with a task to “reorganise” the party ahead of the crucial elections for two assemblies — Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Maryam, who was appointed as the party’s chief organiser, landed at the Allama Iqbal International Airpot from Abu Dhabi at around 3:30pm after a brief delay in her flight.
The daughter of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif was in London since October to spend time with her father — after she was acquitted in the Avenfield reference case.
The PML-N workers in the provincial capital are prepared to welcome the leader who is returning to the country after three months.
