Islamabad: Government has directed to fan manufacturers to prepare fans with new technology which will use 60 watt electricity.
The government adopting save energy initiatives has also instructed to use bulbs having power of 12 watts. The government has also imposed ban on manufacturing of old fans from first of July this year.
This energy saving initiatives will save 1800 mw power and a whopping amount of Rs 24 billion.
