Karachi: Provincial Minister Sindh Saeed Ghani has said that Supreme Court Chief Justice (CJ) Umar Atta Bandiyal should constitute a full court after setting aside his stubbornness.
Holding a presser in Karachi Saeed Ghani said that the job of judiciary is to provide justice instead of giving message to someone.
The labour and men power minister claimed that formation of the full court is a demand of all the political parties and lawyers.
The Minister said that it is odd that the nine-member bench shrink to three.
It is pertinent to mention here that Saeed Ghani was talking about the bench formed by the SC for the hearing of the PTI petition against the ECP decision to delay the elections in Punjab and Kp by October 8.
He said that it is unfortunate for our country that our institutions are intervened in other institutions and judiciary is also included in it. He said that whether it be ex chief justice Iftakhar Chaudhry or former chief Justice Saqib Nisar both harmed the respect of the judiciary.
He said that sitting justices of Supreme Court are also disturbed on it not the people having awareness sitting outside the court. The minister said that whatever happening today is neither good for the supreme court nor for the country.
Lambasting on its opponents party in Karachi, Jamat-e-Islami (JI), Saeed Ghani said that once the JI demanded recounting of votes in the local body elections which were held on January 15 this year, now the JI has demand to stop the recounting of votes.
