Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday won vote of confidence from the National Assembly (NA).
As many as 180 member of the National Assembly (NA) have trusted on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Speaker( NA) Raja Pervez Ashraf announced the success of the PM in the vote of confidence saying that the PM got 180 votes adding that If today were Mufti Abdul Shakoor was alive then there would have been 181 votes for the vote of confidence for the PM.
The speaker further apprised that those members names who voted for the PM, will be written on the NA assembly web site.
Earlier, the PM had decided to take vote of confidence while Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had presented resolution of vote of confidence in the NA for the premier.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had decided to take vote of confidence.
The National Assembly (NA) secretariat had completed all the preparations for the vote of confidence from the NA.
The matter of vote of confidence was included in the by-agenda while the by-agenda was sent to the speaker National Assembly “(NA).
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has consulted all the allied parties over the vote of confidence in the luncheon in the honour of all the all the heads of allied parties.
