Karachi: Ameer Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi on Sunday said that Karachi is not a “Otak” (guest house) of any feudal lord adding that accept our demand with respect otherwise you have to give our rights by rubbing nose.
Addressing a mammoth rally in Karachi at Shahra-e-Faisal against deceiving Karachiites in the ongoing digital census, vanishing thousands of home counts and half of the population, severe irregularities and rigging.
Thousands of women, children, elders and youth participated in the rally. At the occasion the participants were carrying placards, banners, flags having condemnation slogans on it.
Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that our struggle is for future of our children so that we wanted our full rights.
The JI Ameer said that an increasing of counting of Karachiites will diminish the count of feudal lords because Karachi is not a “Otaq” (guest house) of the feudal lords.
Expressing determination, he said that we will protect each and every vote of the city.
Talking about exploitation with Karachittes, Hafiz Naeem said that jobs are not given to no other than Sindhi and residents of interior Sindh in the Sindh secretariat.
In a sharp criticism to Muttahahid Quami Movement Pakistan (MQM-P), he said that “the merchants of Karachi have been brokering deal in the city for forty years.”
