ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday expressed grief over the death of ARY CEO Salman Iqbal’s daughter.
“There are no words to express the grief I felt when I learned about Salman Iqbal’s daughter, Samaya Salman’s sudden passing away at a young age,” the prime minister wrote on Twitter who is in London on an official visit.

Both the president and prime minister prayed to Allah Almighty for peace of the departed soul and strength to Salman Iqbal and his family to bear the loss.
“To Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return,” the prime minister added.
On his Twitter handle, President Alvi said, “Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of ARY’s Salman Iqbal’s daughter. My heartfelt condolences and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.”

Marriyum grieved over sudden demise of ARY CEO’s daughter
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday expressed deep grief and sorrow over “sudden demise of the daughter of Chief Executive Officer of ARY News Salman Iqbal.
“Shocked grieved and devastated on sudden passing away of Sumaya Salman, daughter of Salman Iqbal,” she said in a tweet.
The minister said it was an “unimaginable loss” and words seemed inadequate to express her feelings.
“May Allah provide the family strength and comfort to cope with this tragedy. May Allah grant her the highest place in Jannah. Amen,” she added.
NA Speaker, Deputy Speaker offer condolences on the passing of ARY news CEO’s daughter
National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf and Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani Friday expressed their heartfelt condolences over the unfortunate passing of daughter of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ARY news, Salman Iqbal.
In separate messages of condolences, they conveyed their sympathies to the grieving family and emphasized that the loss of Salman’s daughter was immeasurable and could not be compensated for.
They also shared the sorrow and pain felt by the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to be granted a high rank in the afterlife.
Additionally, they prayed for the family to be granted the strength and fortitude to endure this immense loss with composure.
