Imran Khan is ingrate person: PM Shahbaz


London: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif continuing his criticism on former premier Imran Khan said that Imran Khan is ingrate person adding God willing he will caught (face consequences of their behaviour).

The PM was talking to the media in London on Sunday, he said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief is a liar from head to toes and deceitful as well.

The premier said that his lie is surfacing daily in front of the nation.

He was talking to media after meeting first minister of Scotland Hamza Yousuf while he said that an investment conference will be convened to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Scotland in diverse fields, including trade, investment, education, water management, wind, and solar technology.

.Shehbaz Sharif said he held a productive conversation with Hamza Yousaf, who is a young and energetic person. He said we have agreed to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Scotland, which is a constituent component of the United Kingdom. He said around 80,000 Pakistani diaspora is significantly contributing to the development and progress of Scotland.

Replying to a question regarding his clearance by UK’s National Crime Agency in a money laundering case, the Prime Minister said NCA investigated this matter for two years, and with the blessing of Almighty Allah, he emerged innocent in this frivolous. He said former Prime Minister Imran Khan used all tactics and wasted state money as well as precious time to defame me. He said NCA found nothing against him and now the British investigation agency has given him a clean chit in this matter.

Shehbaz Sharif said Imran Khan is a fraud and cunning, habitual in harming his own benefactors.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was disqualified on the basis of false and baseless allegations and Imran Niazi was imposed on the country in 2018 through a conspiracy.


He said an incompetent person Imran Niazi severely damaged the economy and the country and Pakistan was put in danger while removing Nawaz Sharif from the political scene.


He said Saqib Nisar led the campaign to get Nawaz Sharif disqualified on the basis of false and baseless allegations.


Saqib Nisar was using the power of suo moto not in the public interest but to make Imran Niazi successful, he said adding Saqib Nisar was working not as chief justice of Pakistan but as an agent of Imran Niazi and his sole aim was to defeat Nawaz Sharif and secure win for Imran.


Shehbaz said the audio leaks had unmasked all the characters who were part of the conspiracy. After surfacing of the audio leak of Saqib Nisar, there was no doubt that there was a conspiracy and collusion to bring Imran Niazi to power by any means. He said the National Assembly had taken up the issue of audio leak for a probe against Saqib Nisar and his son.


The prime minister said elections of National Assembly and provincial assemblies should be held on the same day according to the constitution. “It is not possible to hold elections in provinces on different dates as it will affect electoral results.”


The Parliament’s right to legislate cannot be taken away as it was the constitutional and legal right of the legislative body, he added.
