Peshawar: Four people including two police personnel were martyred while seven others injured in a bomb blast at the Tehsil compound in Baara Bazar of district Khyber on Thursday.
According to Rescue 1122, rescue teams have shifted bodies and injured to a local hospital and Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly denounced the explosion at Bara Bazaar in Khyber District.
In a statement, he commiserated with the bereaved families.
The Prime Minister directed to provide best possible medical treatment to those injured in the blast. He said the policemen thwarted the evil intentions of the terrorists by stopping the suspects and risking their lives. He said the personnel of law enforcement agencies risk their lives to ensure public safety.
The Prime Minister paid tributes to the valiant personnel of police force.
