Karachi: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and opposition leader of dissolved Sindh Assembly Rana Ansar have agreed on appointing (retd) justice Maqbool Baqir as care taker chief minister.
The development has made after Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and Opposition leader of earlier SA have completed consultation over selecting the care taker chief Minister.
It is being said that Syed Murad Ali Shah has persuaded the leadership of Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA).
The MQM-P had also called its coordination committee late night for discussing the name of the care taker chief minister Sindh.
Justice retired Maqbool Baqir remained judge of Sindh High Court and then elevated to Supreme Court of Pakistan.
He is supposed to be an impartial person all his professional life.
Earlier, the consultation on selection of care taker Chief Minister continued all around today.

If they were not agreed today then matter will go to the parliamentary committee for selection of care taker premier.
Talking to media in this scribe, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah confidently said today name for care taker chief minister will be finalized.
The CM said that we are having difficulty to chose best of the best person on the post of care taker CM. He said that following the constitution there should be election must be held as early as possible.
