Karachi: Religio political party Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman has announced complete shutter down strike on September 19 over rise in petroleum prices.
The JI staged protest rally at Star gate near airport over hike in petroleum , electricity and gas prices, addressing the rally the JI Amir Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that we will see how the government can’t reduce the petroleum prices.
Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman demanded the Karachiites to leave their houses on September 19 carrying motorcycles and vehicles and shut it down on roads.
He said that the rulers don’t give us lectures adding that if they can’t lower down the prices of petroleum products than they all are representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The JI Karachi Amir said that caretaker provincial finance minister Younis Dhagha has removed from the charge of his ministry.
He demanded that Dhaga will be given the ministry charge again.
