Islamabad: The World Bank agreed to provide Pakistan 150 million dollars while Pakistan will get 135 million dollars as a loan for energy sector projects whereas the WB will also give Pakistan a grant of 15 million dollars.
According to documents, the projects mean improvement and protection in performance in the field of energy while commercial, industrial and residential buildings will be transferred to electricity from gas.
A saving of 291.65 billion has been estimated yearly from the implementation on the project. While the construction of buildings saving the energy will be encouraged.
Besides that private sector investment in the energy field will be promoted. .
