Islamabad: A major uptick in gas prices is likely from October 1 while a summary of the raise likely to be presented to Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) tomorrow.
Sources said that from the approval of ECC the increase will be implemented from October 1.
As per the summary gas prices it is suggested to increase gas prices from Rs 2000 to 3500 for the use of 1 MMBTU gas,sources said.
Whereas for more than 1 MMBTU it is suggested to increase gas prices from Rs 3100 to Rs 4000.
