Multan: The funeral prayers of Asim Jamil, son of eminent scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, will be offered today in Talamba, Mian Chuno today.
Asim Jamil has commited suicide at his residence in Talamba from a gun taken from his house guard.
Family sources said that he had been suffering from intense depression for many years.

Maulana Tariq Jamil, elder son, Maulana Yousuf Jamil in his video statement on social media, he apprised that his younger brother has committed suicide owing to his severe depression.
He appealed the masses don’t spread rumors adding that we don’t have any enmity with anyone.
Yousuf Jamil informed that his brother himself shot him while taking gun from a house guard.
