Islamabad: On the order of Supreme court, the Chief Election Commissioner along with the delegations reached the President’s House and consulted about the date of the elections
Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja along with the delegation reached the President’s House where he sat with the President Dr. Arif Alvi for an hour. According to sources, consultations were held on January 28, February 4 and February 11. The four members of the commission were also involved in the meeting
After the meeting, the delegation led by the Chief Election Commissioner returned to the Election Commission office where another consultation meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Election Commissioner in which the situation after the meeting with the President was discussed.
On the other hand, the Chief Election Commissioner also wrote a letter to the President Dr. Arif Alvi in which the date of February 11 was suggested for the general elections.
