Lahore: All rounder Imad Wasim has announced retirement from international cricket, ending his over eight year long association with the national side.
Pakistan all rounder Imad Wasim has retired from international cricket, effective immediately, Imad Wasim who announced his retirement on social media, played 121 internationals for Pakistan as a left-arm spinning bowler and a lower-order batter. He last represented Pakistan in 2022.
Imad Wasim wrote that “representing Pakistan in T20 and ODI matches was a dream come true, it is the beginning of a good time for Pakistan cricket with new leadership and coaches”
All-rounder Imad Wasim said that recently he was thinking about his international career, he have come to the conclusion that it is the right time to announce his retirement.
Imad Wasim said that he thank PCB and fans for their support, he wish them all the best, now he will focus on the next step away from international career.
It should be noted that Imad Wasim played 55 ODIs and 66 T20 International matches while representing Pakistan
