Islamabad: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a loan of 180 million dollars.
The amount will use in provision of water and solid waste management in two cities of Punjab.
As per the ADB, as many as 1.5 million people will be benefited from the projects. The bank said that the money will be spent on water provision project in Rawalpindi.
The loan will also be used to extend solid waste managment in Bahawalpur, the bank added.
The bank further apprised that the measures will be taken for making municipal services durable and environment friendly in both the cities.
