Mambai: Dinesh Phadnis of CID fame actor battling for life after serious heart attack and shifted to a hospital in Mambai.
According to Indian media reports, 57-year-old Dinesh fidnis suffered a sudden heart attack, after which he was shifted to a hospital in Mambai, it is safe to say that “CID” held a special place in people’s hearts and Inspector Frederick much loved by the audience for his honest and sweet nature was portrayed by Dinesh Phadnis in it. Currently the Actor is battling for his life.
As per report Dinesh Phadnis is in a very critical condition and is on a ventilator battling for his life. the report further mentioned that the entire cast and crew of “CID” have been informed, and many of the close ones of Phadnis are coming to the hospital at regular intervals to check up on his condition.
For the unversed, Dinesh Phadnis played the popular character of Fredericks in “CID” from 1998 to 2018. The actor brought in a fun and comic element to the rather serious detective show . He was one of the very few in the cast who stayed the longest duration on the show. He has also worked in quite a few films.
It may be noted that Dinesh Fidnis shot to fame with “CID” apart from this he has also appeared in a cameo role in the comedy-drama Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma.
“CID” first aired in 1998, making it one of the longest running television shows in India.
