Karachi: The residents of Arshi shopping mall are under the sky as they said that their flats were destroyed in the fire yesterday.
They said that all the things present in the house have gutted in the fire.
On the other hand, Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) team has apprised that pillars of the Arshi shopping building needed little bit repair and after it the people will soon able to reside in the building again.
The SBCA team announced the good news for the residents after visiting and inspection of the building.
Moreover, Caretaker chief minister Sindh Maqbool Baqir has ensured the residence of the gutted building that the provincial government will try to reduce affectees pain and sufferings.
The CM Sindh visited the building and took review of the shopping mall.
At the occasion, Maqbool Baqir said that there is a need of strict implementation on building laws.
It is pertinent to mention here that as many as five people were lost their lives in the fire while seven shops, several vehicles parked near the building destroyed in the horrific fire yesterday.
The estimation of losses incurred by the flats residents in the building have not been ascertained so far.
