Dubai: In Under-19 Asia Cup Pakistan got a winning start , Pakistan defeated Nepal by 7 wickets.
At the Dubai ICC Stadium Pakistan won the toss of Asia Cup match , the Captain of unde-Nineteen team Saad Baig gave Nepal a chance to bat. Nepal team could score one hundred and fifty-one runs in forty-seven overs. Uttam Magrakiyavan and Dupesh Kundal were the top scorers for Nepal with 31 runs. Mohammad Zeeshan of Pakistan took six wickets by giving nineteen runs. This is the second best bowling performance by Pakistan at Under-19 level. Earlier, Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed six players for fifteen runs in the Under-19 World Cup. Pakistan crossed the target in twenty-six overs with the help of captain Saad Baig and Azan Owais partnership. Saad baig scored fifty runs. Azan Owais remained not out scoring fifty eight runs. Pakistan will play the second match against traditional rivals India on Sunday.
