Dera Ismail Khan,(DI Khan): Security forces conducted several operations against terrorists in DI Khan killing at least 27 terrorists while 25 Pakistan army soldiers were also embraced martyrdom in fighting with terrorists , the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said.
IBO in Darazinda
As per the army’s media wing ISPR, the security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in DI Khan area of Darazinda killing 17 terrorists while the terrorists hide out was destroyed.
Operation in Kalachi
The Pakistan army carrying out another operation in Kalachi area of DI Khan seized a terrorists hide out and six terrorists were mow down in the operation while two brave soldiers of the country also martyred in the operation.
The killed terrorists were involved in many attacks on security forces and civilians. Whereas a huge cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the terrorists.
Horrific Suicide attack on forces check post
At least six terrorists laden with explosive material in a vehicle were conducted a horrific suicide attack on security forces check post in DI Khan’s Daraban area on night of December 12 after they were stopped by the security forces entering into the check-post resulting martyrdom of 23 courageous soldiers of the country.
While all six terrorists were sent to hell by the security forces.
The ISPR added that a Sanitization operation in the area is continued in a search of more terrorists.
