The brave daughters of Lyari participated in a private TV channels program they told about their struggle, there is also a girls’ boxing club in Lyari area of Shahr Quaid where four sisters (professional boxers sisters) practice for many hours with the desire to raise the flags of success in the world boxing arena.
Popularly known as the Professional Boxers Sisters, the sisters, include Bakhtawar Khan, Asia Khan, Nimra Khan and Mahnoor Khan, spoke about how they also focused on their studies and learned boxing at the same time.
The four sisters belong to Lyari Karachi, it will not be wrong to say that they are part of the boxer family. They are six siblings and all of them are boxers. Bakhtawar Khan is the first ring official of Pakistan and she is also the chairperson of Pakistan Boxing Council.
Bakhtawar Khan said that her father was also a boxer who is now also a trainer and coaches them, their training is very strict, they have to lift weights with hands and feet and Abu also takes care of our diet. He has dedicated his entire life to their brothers and sisters
She said that in her family there is no tradition for girls to read, on which she have to hear many things, she and Aasiya have done masters in literature and Nimra is a graduate. But now, seeing their success and honor, relatives are also proud of them
