KARACHI: The second phase of the general election the scrutiny of all the submitted nomination papers will continue till December 30
The Election Commission of Pakistan has started the second phase of general election across the country, the process of scrutiny of all the submitted nomination papers will continue till December 30, appeals can be filed against the decisions of the returning officers from Tuesday December 26.
The process of checking the nomination papers for the seats of the National and Provincial Assemblies in the general elections has started. After being approved , after examining the nomination papers of People’s Party leader Qadir Khan Mandukhel from NA-242, the decision was reserved.
On the central district, MQM Pakistan leader Sheikh Salahuddin filed objections on the nomination papers of NA-248, independent candidate Aslam Khan’s nomination paper approved and the decision was reserved, while Jamiat Ulema Islam leader Shah Owais Noorani’s nomination papers were approved from South NA-240 district
