Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zaradari while talking to media in Lahore has said that the election will be held on time, he said that some politicians claimed for Lahore development but he observed heaps of problems on the roads of Lahore as much work as neess to be done in Lahore, not in the whole country, they will solve the problems of the people by following the ten-points agenda.
Bilawal Bhutto has said that People’s Party believes in the politics of equality, they are in favor of holding free and fair elections in the country. In response to a question, Bilawal said that Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf are contesting elections so that their leader and founder can escape from jail, He further said that his grandfather founded PPP in Lahore, and he is starting the political journey from Lahore, Bilawal said that PML-N and PTI have their personal agenda while his agenda is public.
It should be noted that yesterday the Senate had approved the resolution submitted by the independent member from FATA, Dilawar Khan, regarding the postponement of the election.
At the time of passing the resolution, only 14 members were present in the Upper House, out of which only PML-N Senator Afnanullah opposed the resolution while PTI Senator Gardeep Singh and PPP’s Bahramand Tungi remained silent.
