Islamabad: Secretary election commission of Pakistan has tendered resignation owing to his deteriorating health conditions.
The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja has not accepted his resignation yet.
The secretary election commission o f Pakistan Umar Hameed said that his condition not allowed him to fullfil his duties any more.
Sources said that the secretary election commission not resigned on any pressure and he is under treatment at home after hospital .
Umar Hameed two year duration of job had ended in the last July . However, the CEC has extended his job for one more year.
