Baluchistan Customs make a record by collecting 57 billion rupees taxes within last six month

QUETTA: During last six months Baluchistan Customs collected fifty-seven billion rupees in taxes, which is a new record.

Baluchistan Customs make a new records by collected 57 billion rupees in taxes while Baluchistan Customs recovered the smuggled goods in various operations and deposited billions of rupees in the national treasury.  

The performance of Baluchistan Customs has been excellent since the orders of the caretaker federal government to take strict actions against smuggling and improve the collection of taxes, the Collectorate of Customs Baluchistan has collected 57 billion in duty taxes during the last six months. According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Customs Baluchistan, Baluchistan Customs Collectorate consists of 5 Customs Collectorates including Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Quetta. Collectorate of Customs Appraisal Quetta, Collectorate of Customs Gwadar, Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Khuzdar and Collectorate of Customs Appraisal Taftan are included.

All the Collectorates have shown unprecedented performance in the field of duty taxes and anti-smuggling, during the last 6 months, 57 billion in duty taxes and export of smuggled goods have been deposited in the national exchequer. Exported foreign goods worth 17 billion. Including non-customs paid vehicles, chalia, pan prag gutka, smuggled petroleum products, mobile phones, cigarettes, food items. Tires, cloth. Spare parts, auto parts, sugar, urea fertilizer, currency, gold, medicines etc. are included. Similarly, customs appraisal Quetta collected 26 billion in duty taxes. The main role in generating revenue was played by the customs staff posted at NLC due to the closure of the second duty taxes collection center Chaman for several months.
