LAHORE: Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (N) have met British High Commissioner, Shahbaz Shareef, Maryam Nawaz were also present in the meeting.
Former Prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League (N) chief Muhammad Nawaz Shareef have met British High Commissioner at Jati Amra Lahore, during meeting Matters of mutual interest were discussed, Nawaz Sharif said on this occasion that strong relations between Pakistan and Britain are in the interest of both countries
Former prime minister said that Pakistanis living in Britain are playing an important role in strengthening the friendship between the two countries. Development of relations between Pakistan and UK in various fields including trade, investment is the need of the hour.
The British High Commissioner informed about his meetings with various political parties in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Jane Marriott said that the holding of inclusive elections on February 8 is important for the future of Pakistan. The British High Commissioner congratulated the leader of Muslim League (N) on his acquittal in various cases
