RAWALPINDI: Former Chairman PTI Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have been Charged in the Tosha khana Case.
As per detail, In the Tosha Khana case, former Chairman PTI and his wife Bushra Bibi were charged. During the hearing in Adiala Jail, the charge sheet was read out So both of them denied the crime. The verdict was also reserved on the bail request of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi.
During the hearing, copies of the 190 million pound reference were also provided to Bushra Bibi. According to the charge sheet imposed on the accused, the founder PTI and Bushra Bibi received 108 gifts from various heads of state during the prime ministership, Bushra Bibi kept 58 gifts worth Rs. 14 million.
According to the charge sheet, the PTI founder kept the Jewelery set received from the Saudi Crown Prince for a very small amount, Thus Bushra Bibi and the founder of PTI violated Tosha Khana laws and imposed arbitrary prices on gifts by using their powers illegally.
The charge sheet stated that both paid only Rs 9 million for the expensive Jewelery set. This low price was quoted from a private individual which was much lower than the original price. Investigation also revealed that an expert in Dubai was also contacted to price the Jewelery set. A trial should be initiated against the accused in the light of all the required evidence, documentary evidence and inquiry report
