KARACHI: in Naqibullah murder case 7 accused including former SHO have been indicted.
The Naqeebullah murder case was heard in Karachi’s Anti-Terrorism Court, the court indicted 7 accused including fromer SHO amanullah Marwat. the accused denied the health crime. However, the court summoned the witnesses of the case at the next hearing.
The accused named in the case include Gada Hussain, Sadaqat Hussain, Riaz Ahmed, Raja Shamim, Abbas and Shoaib.
According to the prosecution, 18 police officers and personnel including former SSP Malir Rao Anwar have been acquitted. In the case, 7 police officers and officials, including former SHO Amanullah Marwat, were absconding.
The prosecution said that one accused in the case, Shoaib Shooter, is on bail, while 6 accused, including Amanullah Marwat, are under arrest.
It should be noted that Naqibullah was killed in a police encounter in January 2018
