Karachi: The 3rd death anniversary of renowned poet Dr. Syed Rehan Azmi is being observed on Friday.
He was born in 1958 in Karachi. He penned down more than 4,000 songs, including popular songs ‘Hawa Hawa Aye Hawa’ and ‘Khushboo Ban Kay Mehak Raha Hai Mera Pakistan’.
He had also gotten fame as Noha and Marsia poet and declared the poet of Ahlebait (followers of family of Prophet Muhammad PBUH.)
Rehan Azmi passed away on this day in 2021.
