The results of a very important survey under the supervision of IRIS have come to light. In January 2024, IRI Communication conducted a recent public opinion survey in Punjab. The survey results also highlighted changes in the ranking of political parties, and the importance of a stable government to address broader issues, PTI’s popularity among the people has reduced from forty-three percent to thirty-five percent
The decline in PTI’s popularity is an indication of the decrease in voting in the upcoming elections. In the survey results, an increase in the popularity of Muslim League-N was seen, which increased from thirty-one percent to forty-three percent. PML-N appeared to play a major role in his popularity in Central Punjab as well. According to almost half of the respondents, PMLN will form the next government. Four percent majority of the respondents believe that a stable government is the solution to the current geographical, political and socio-economic problems. During the survey, people declared political stability as indispensable for achieving prosperity
