Karachi: Almost all the political parties across the country have fielded their best of the best candidates for contesting the elections.
In the same way a vital competition is going to happen in Karachi between the Muttahaida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on National Assembly seat NA- 241.
Senior Deputy Convener of the MQM-P Dr Farooq Sattar are contesting the elections against the PTI leader Khurram Sher Zaman while the Jamat-e-Islami (JI) has fielded Naveed Ali Baig for the constituency.
As per the new demarcation of constituencies, NA-241 is the smallest in terms of population in District South.

The constituency is composed of the South Karachi localities of Aram Bagh, Civil Line, Clifton, Defence, Gizri, Mithadar, Kharadar, Nanak Wara, part of Ranchore Line, Saddar, and Serai Quarter.
