Karachi: JI Ameer Karachi Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman rejecting the election results announced to leave his seat PS-129.
Addressing a presser at the JI Headquarter Karachi, the JI Ameer Karachi said that we don’t take a seat as a charity.
He complaint to establishment that they have given less seats then it actual mandate adding that they didn’t need charity.
He also demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and Supreme Court to issue order to release results as per the form 45.
Our mandate is more than the two seats, Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said.
Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that we have clarified this thing earlier that the rigging started along with the election of the mayor Karachi.
He said that saying this an elections is a joke adding that the ECP has to thing that it deprived of masses from their rights.
The JI Karachi chief said that the forms 45 were night given till late night on the intervening night of February 8 and February 9 night.
He claimed that the presiding officers had a pressure that they have to issue results late.
He said that the form 45 were not given from lots of the polling stations adding that we have gotten more votes than the local bodies elections.
Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that the the JI and independents candidate belonging to the PTI got the votes but the ECP put the shame.
He said that if the MQM-P had won the elections legally then we would have accept it.He claimed that the MQM-P didn’t won any single polling station.
He announced that he will return back its winning seat PS-129 Karachi adding he has forfearence that he will not take his which he won.
He said that his decision to leave his seat is a slap on the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
He said that we have right to democrativ resisistance adding that we have filed a petition and we will fight the court battle.
He demanded that the ECP and Chief Justice of Pakistan of SC all the results be annulled and order to issue results as per the form 45.
He also demanded to hold forensic audit in the supervision of the SC then the matter will be exposed.
