Islamabad: A meeting of Central Executive Committee (CEC) of Pakistan Peoples Party will again be held in Islamabad today to deliberate upon post-election scenario.
It will be co-chaired by Party’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
In yesterday’s meeting, the Central Executive Committee expressed confidence in the top PPP leadership. However, the Central Executive Committee remained inconclusive on forming the future strategy with regard to the post-election situation.
“The CEC meeting will continue today as well, but it was decided to form a committee for political contacts which will also be announced today,” said the PPPP Vice President Senator Sherry Rehman in a press talk outside the Zardari House.
However, she did not name the committee members saying these would also be announced on today after the conclusion of the CEC meeting.
Faisal Karim Kundi, Shazia Marri, Sarfaraz Bugti and other leaders accompanied Sherry.
Zardari and Bilawal jointly chaired the CEC at Zardari House, Islamabad. All the CEC members were present.
