PESHAWAR: Jamat-e-Islami has deprived two provincial assembly seats in Bajaur after recounting.
Independent candidates were declared successful in the recount in PK twenty and twenty one. Anwarzeb, an independent candidate from PK20 Bajaur, won with more than 12,000 votes. PML-N’s Shahabuddin Khan stood second with 6,945 votes, Independent candidate Ajmal Khan won with16,705 votes in Bajaur PK21. Jamaat-e-Islami’s Shakirullah came second with 8104 votes.
