KARACHI: Three police officers detained after revealing to supply modern weapons to Kachche robbers, the weapons were being smuggled to Sindh in police mobiles.
Jacobabad Police has successfully taken action against the Kachche robbers, 4 robbers and 3 police officers detained being close associates the robbers being supply the weapons in police van.
The weapons recovered from the police mobile including 2,350 bullets of light machine gun and Kalashnikov have been recovered from the double cabin and police mobile, including 6 magazines of light machine gun and 17 magazines of G3 rifle.
Apart from this, the notorious smuggler Akhtar Lashari, wanted in 4 cases, was also arrested while the arrested policemen belong to Shikarpur. IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi said that the further investigation is underway in this regards
