Lahore: The scene of battlefield witnessed in front of the Lahore High Court (LHC) as lawyers protested against cases against them and transferred of the courts.
The lawyers also tried to shut down the courts while the police resorted to batton charge and shelling.
The police also arrested many lawyers while the police added that stone pelting by lawyers injured Superintendent of Police (SP) Model Town, Station House Officer (SHO) Anarkali and many personnel were also sustained injuries.
On the other hand, the lawyers refused holding talks with the police.
The clash also errupted for the secon time at GPO round about while the police used wanter canons and tear gas on the lawers.
The lawyers have given a call of countrywide protest tomorrow.
