All Burden put on salaried class once again in budget 2024-2025: Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman

Lahore: Chief of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman has said that a burden has been put on salaried class once again while he said that irrespective of a private company increases salary or not but income tax will be increased.

Addressing a presser at the JI headquarter in Mansora Lahore, Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman questioned that why don’t major feudal lords bring into the tax net?

The JI ameer said that the government is following a policy of breaking the backbone of the middle class and saving the elite class.

Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that this time again the document of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) slavery has been named the budget.

He said that the rulers have not daring to hold negotiations with the IMF keeping in the mind the national interests of the country.

He said that actually both side of the table representatives of imperialists are sit. He said that the finance ministers are imported in our country.

The JI chief said that despite taking 23 programs of the IMF the country economy could be improved.

He demanded the government to review the electricity prices while he said that the expensive electricity is a cruel and result of anti-masses agreements.

He said that there are no good news in the budget for employees, labourers and deprived classes.

He said that claims of the Finance Minister regarding the decrease in the inflation are against the ground realities.
