3.8 MTPA coal to be dug out from Thar coal power project yearly: CM Sindh

Karachi: Fountain of development has erupted in desert of Thar as 3.8 MTPA coal will be dug out from the Thar coal power project block 2 yearly.

Apprising the Sindh vision, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah informed that the Thar coal power project block 2 phase having cost of 627 million dollars.

The CM Sindh apprised that 3.8 MTPA coal rooted out yearly from here. He apprised further that more than 2 million ton coal has been unearthed.

He said that 0.75 trees have been planted and road network has wraped up adding that the government is also establishing an university here.

Syed Murad Ali Shah informed that women are driving dumpers while the most of them were posted on RO plants after giving them training.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that People’s Housing for Flood Affectees is the largest housing project in the world, providing climate-resilient houses to protect against the impacts of climate change.

Notably, the number of beneficiaries of this program exceeds the population of 154 countries, he added.
