Lahore: Ameer-e-Jamat Islami (JI) Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman on Wednesday demanded the government to provide cheap electricity and end cruel taxes on the electricity bills.
Addressing a sit-in outside Lahore Electric Supply Coorporation (LESCO) office today, the JI Ameer Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that on the International Monetary Fund (IMF) people are sujected to cruelty.
The JI ameer said that the political parties committed false promises of providing free electricity.
Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman said that the nation should be provided cheap electricity instead of claiming tall announcements.
He said that we don’t accept cruelty on the masses on any cost.
