AC Extends Nadeem Bhutto’s Physical Remand For Three Days

ISLAMABAD: An accountability court of Islamabad on Monday extended physical remand of Naudero House In-charge Nadeem Bhutto for three days, in an ongoing inquiry against him in fake bank accounts case.

According to details, the accused was presented before AC Judge Mohammad Arshad Malik.

As the hearing commenced, the NAB prosecutor claimed that utility connections of the Naudero House were under Nadeem’s name who was ‘only an employee of the house’.

NAB prosecutor said that a person named Yasir Soomro was responsible for providing the money who did not show up before the Anti-graft watchdog despite being summoned.

The court was also told that even the former president Asif Ali Zardari was unaware of the transfer of money in Nadeem’s account.

Moreover, he said accused is being an investigation, therefore, more time will be needed.

On the other hand, Nadeem’s lawyer, while presenting his argument, blamed NAB of ‘trying to make his client an approver against Asif Zardari’.

Approving NAB’s request, the court then extended Nadeem Bhutto’s remand for three more days.
