ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court Islamabad on Thursday formally fixed April 19 as the date for hearing of the first reference filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Fake Bank Accounts and Money. Laundering Case.
The court also summoned all nominated suspects including former Karachi Administrator Mohammad Hussain on April 19.
Sources said that Asif Ali Zardari’s close friend Younus Kodwavi, four incumbent and four former officers of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) are among the nominated suspects.
The suspects have allegations of illegally alloting certain plots for welfare purposes.
On Wednesday, a Combined Investigation Team (CIT) of NAB filed its first reference in the case.
Omni Group’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdul Ghani Majeed is among the nominated parties in NAB’s reference.
