Rawalpindi: An Accountability Court in Rawalpindi on Monday for third time postponed pronouncing the verdict of the long-awaited £190 million case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran khan and his wife Bushra Bibi .
Now the court has set a new date of January 17 on Friday for announcing the verdict,
Judge of the AC apprised that former premier Imran Khan, his wife and lawyers not appeared before the court today.
He further apprised that the judgement of the case is ready and he has signed verdict which has to be announced today.
He said that he has been in the court since 8:30 am while Bushra Bibi despite having knowledge of the case not appeared before the court.
Imran Khan also informed twice regarding the today’s verdict but he also not appeared before the court.

Judge of the Accountability Court, Nasir Javed Rana, has to pronounce the verdict at 11 AM today at Adiala Jail.
The judicial staff has informed the parties involved, Imran Khan’s lawyer, Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry and the NAB prosecution team as well.
Imran Khan’s lawyer, Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, also confirmed that the judicial staff has notified them about the decision being announced today .
It is merit to mention that the Accountability Court had reserved its decision on the 190 million pounds reference on December 18, 2024.
Initially, the decision was first scheduled for December 23, later on Jnuary 6, and now the today.
The trial for the 190 million pounds reference was completed in one year, during which NAB recorded statements from 35 witnesses.
Imran Khan’s lawyers cross-examined the witnesses. Key witnesses in the case included former Principal Secretary Azam Khan, former Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, and former Federal Minister Zubaida Jalal.
Former premier and his wife were indicted in the 190 million pounds reference on February 27, 2024
