Islamabad: The ban on social media platform X in Pakistan has been lifted across the country, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) chairman confirmed.
Users can now access X without the use of a VPN (virtual private network).
Users on X reported that the social media platform is accessible without the use of proxy services.
It is worth mentioning here that X (formerly know as Twitter) was reportedly banned in Pakistan and was inaccessible without VPNs.
