KARACHI: Accountability Court on Saturday has extended the physical remand of Sindh Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani till April 12.
As per details, Sindh Speaker was produced before an Accountability Court today where National Accountability Bureau (NAB) sought an extension in his remand which was accepted by the court and it extended the remand of Sindh Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani till April 12.
At this occasion, the NAB’s speaker told the court that the income of Agha Siraj is around Rs 110 million and his expenditure are about Rs 450 million. The Sindh Speaker has opened accounts of his personal employees to cater his financial needs.
NAB prosecutor then pleaded the court to let them investigate from the employees of Sindh Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.
To this, the court extended the remand of Sindh Speaker till April 12 and ordered the anti-graft body to present its detailed report on next hearing.
