Karachi: An accountability court of Karachi on Monday accepted the petition seeking withdrawing of a reference of illegal recruitment in the Pakistan State Oil (PSO).
The court ordered illegal recruitment reference in the PSO be sent back to Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The court set free all the accused in the case including Shahid Khaqan Abbassi.
The more persons acquitted included former Managing Director (MD) PSO Sheikh Imran Ul Haq , another ex-MD of PSO Yaqoob Sattar and former secretary petroleum Arshad Mirza.
Former premier and existing head of a political party Awam Pakistan, Shahid Khaqan Abbassi expressed his happiness over the AC Karachi ruling.
Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that without closing down the NAB the country will not run.
He suggested that Chief Justice (CJ) Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) and Chief of Army Staff should taking responsibility of seeing the matters of the country.
