Karachi: A large number of actors actresses, politicians expressed condolence with the family of legendary comedian Umar Sharif on his passing away by visiting his house.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology and leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM) contacted Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi to bring Umar Sharif body from Germany.
He said he was in touch with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to bring back the body of the comedian in 48 hours.
He said he would appeal to the government to organise his funeral at state level.
In recognition of the services rendered by late #UmerSharif, KMC will name its underpass at the junction of Shaheed e Millat & Hyder Ali Roads as “Umer Sharif Underpass”.

Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani said that Umar Sharif will be remembered for years while Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahba accompanied with him.
