ISLAMABAD: The administration of Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi has firmly refuted social media rumors regarding the health of former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, asserting that he is in good health and remains within the jail premises.
This statement followed a surge of unverified posts on social media platforms on Wednesday, falsely claiming that Imran Khan had passed away in custody.
Jail authorities have labeled these allegations as unfounded, confirming that the former prime minister is being provided with full medical care and dismissing reports of his transfer to another location as untrue.
Imran Khan has been held at Adiala Jail for over two years due to multiple charges related to corruption and terrorism.
