The match was played in Sharjah, where Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 169 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the 20 overs.
For Afghanistan, Ibrahim Zadran scored 65 runs, while Sediq Allah made 64 runs.
