ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan People Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, stated that Afghanistan has become a sanctuary for terrorists, and the world must be made aware of the Afghan government’s role in this.
Speaking at the in-camera session of the Parliamentary Committee, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, “The fire that has been ignited in Pakistan, those living around it should not think that it will not reach them.”
He emphasized that Afghanistan has become a haven for terrorists, and the issue of terrorism in Afghanistan needs to be raised vigorously at the diplomatic level. He stressed the need to make the world aware of the Afghan government’s role and to make Pakistan’s foreign policy more effective, while also urging the international community to take notice of the situation.
He further stated that the world cannot isolate itself from this region and that it is necessary to identify those who financially support terrorists.
The PPP Chairman also declared that the Peoples Party is ready to provide all kinds of assistance in eliminating extremism and terrorism from Pakistan, calling it a crucial national issue where there is no room for hesitation or compromise.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reiterated his unconditional support and unwavering commitment to the fight against terrorism.”
