WEB DESK: On the matter of Afghanistan, former all-rounder Shahid Afridi expressed his disappointment, stating that Afghanistan has displayed blatant aggression despite the consistent support extended to them.
In a post shared on X, the former national cricket team captain emphasized that Pakistan has always stood in solidarity with its Afghan brothers, often treating their hardships as its own. He highlighted his personal efforts to support 350 Afghan families within his capacity.
However, Afridi lamented that Afghanistan seemed to have forgotten these acts of assistance, resorting instead to open hostilities at the border.
He praised the Pakistani forces for their strong response to this aggression and urged Afghanistan to reflect on its actions.
Afridi reminded them that Pakistan is a brotherly Islamic country and cautioned against allowing external forces, particularly those aiding terrorists within Pakistan, to exploit their ties.
